Robert L. Motto
/Robert L. Motto, 79, of Linton, IN passed away at 1:33 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2022 in Richard L. Rotdebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born November 17, 1942 in Sullivan, IN to Michael Motto and Fern (Letsinger) Motto.
Robert married Vera (Judy) Motto on June 1, 1963, she passed away on June 3, 2009
Survivors include his sons, Bruce Motto (Michelle) of Terre Haute, IN, Scott Motto of Linton, IN, Rob Motto of Linton, IN; grandchildren, Brian Reiser, Michael Motto, James Motto, Kaylay Motto.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harry Motto.
Robert graduated from Jasonville High School. He attended ISU and Vincennes University. Robert was a US Army Veteran having retired after 22 years 4 months of service to his country, he them worked at the Pharmacy at Fort Sam Houston and retired from there in 2004. He and Vera later returned to Jasonville. Robert was a member of Linton American Legion Post #22. He enjoyed leatherworking and working with stained glass as well as coin collecting. He enjoyed playing the piano, saxophone, clarinet and flute.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from Noon to 2 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating. Military Honors will follow at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
