Rilleda J. Hudson, age 74, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 6:37 am on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Linton, IN on June 14, 1951 to Cleal & Eva Ruth (Wellington) Stone who died in 1956. Then was proudly given the wonderful parents Galen & Georgia Lee (Wellington) White.

She was a graduate of Switz City Central High School and married Raymond Hudson in 1969. She worked at Pope Brothers, Linton Stockton School as a teachers aide then opened up her pride and joy, the Busy Bee Quilt Shop. She taught many quilting classes and loved to share her passion and talent with others when she could. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She gave away many quilts to friends, family, veterans and missionaries.

Rilleda is survived by her sons, Jeff (Peggy) Hudson of Linton and Jay (Karrie) Hudson of Linton; grandchildren, Todd (Megan) Hudson, Alizabeth Hudson, Mason Hudson and Jace Hudson; great grandson, Beau Woolwine; brothers, Jim (JoAnn) White and Terry (Carmen) Hudson; nephews, Greg White, Brad White, Bret White, Brent Stone, Stephen Stone, Adon Hudson and Aaron Hudson; niece, Cambi Ferguson as well as her sister-in-law, Kay Stone.

She was preceded in death by both sets of her parents; husband, Raymond Hudson; brother, Larry Stone and sisters, Joyce Ruth Stone and Janell White.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton of Walton Funeral Service, Inc. on Thursday, April 16, 2026 with Pastor John Riker officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
