Randall J. "Randy" Rehmel

Randall J. "Randy" Rehmel, 63, of Worthington, IN. passed away at 12:15 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2024 in Bloomington IU Hospital, Bloomington, IN.

He was born December 30, 1960 in Sullivan, IN to Linus Rehmel and Roberta (Crosby) Rehmel.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Debra Rehmel of Worthington. IN; children, Ashlee Freeland of Worthington, IN, Kyla Curnett of Worthington, IN, Kristen McDaniel of Jasonville. IN; grandchildren, Jacelyn LeCocq, Kaige Felker, Jaxon LeCocq, Aven Fulford, Flint West; siblings, Jane Ann Sapp of Homewood, IL, Sharon Postin of Linton, IN, David Rehmel (Lisa) of Linton, IN, Jeannie Gray of Coalmont, IN, Dennis Rehmel (Rita) of Linton, IN, Donald Rehmel (Jackie) of Lewis, IN,  Kenny Joe Rehmel (Jamie) of Coalmont, IN, Chris Rehmel (Linya) of Robinson, IL, Pamela Martin (Todd) of Linton, IN; mother in-law, Leona Richards of Worthington, IN; brother and sister in-laws, Juanita Lapczynski (Dave) of Andrews, IN, Ronnie Richards (Rita) of Kansas City, MO, Susan Neal (Doug) of Jasonville, IN numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronnie Rehmel; brother in-laws, Rick Sapp, Hibbitt Postin; sister in-law, Tammy Rehmel.

Randy graduated from Shakamak High School. He enjoyed working with his hands working with wood as a carpenter and working some construction. He enjoyed hunting mushrooms and ginseng and liked working in his garden. Randy loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed baseball, softball and being an umpire. He loved playing pingpong and pool. Randy attended Lawton Street Christian Church in Jasonville, IN.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday, Nov. 4. 2024 and 9 A.M. until service time Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Services are 11 A.M. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.

Interment will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
