Marcus W. Ray

Marcus W. Ray, 71, of Bloomfield passed away Monday, October 28, 2024 at his residence.

Born December 23, 1952 in Linton, Indiana the son of James Franklin Ray and Gladys M. (Crowe) Ray.

Marcus was a mechanic, he had a love of cars and working on cars from a young age, he was a member of the Bloomfield American Legion SAL Post 196.

Surviving relatives include his wife Debi Ray, his children, Shawn Ray, Shannon (Robert) Young, Lisa (John) Saunders, his grandchildren, Connor Ray, Easton Ray, Veronica Ray, Morgan (Jordan) Moore, Madison (Daymien Bomgardner) Young, Johnny Saunders, Holly Saunders, three great grandchildren, Mari, Connor, Warren and sister-in-law Gina Burks.

Marcus was preceded in death by one son, Brent Ray, his brother Lonnie Ray and his parents.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday November 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Ridgeport Cemetery in Bloomfield, friends may gather from Noon until the hour of service at the Cemetery.

The family ask any memorial donations in Marcus’s name be given to Ridgeport Cemetery.
