Phyllis Foster, age 86, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 9:40 pm on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. She was born in Linton, IN on May 15, 1937, the daughter of Clarence & Mamie (Hensley) Foster.

She enjoyed listening to the radio, cooking and spending time with her family.

Phyllis is survived by her nieces, Cathy Tennant and Sharon Longyear; nephew, Robert V. Foster; great nieces and nephews, Mike Tennant, Joe Tennant, Shannon Tennant and Jennifer Hooper; several great great nieces and nephews as well as her sister-in-law, Mary Cathryn Foster.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Lee Foster, Jack Foster and Chester Foster as well as a sister, Wilma Jean Foster.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
