Patricia A. Vest

Patricia A. Vest, 80, of Bloomfield, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at her residence.

Born July 31, 1937 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Noah and Margaret (Allen) Hardesty.

Patty was the owner and operator of Patty’s Flowers in Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include: her sons, Andy Vest (Jill) and Randy Vest (Tammy) both of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Ashley Shields (Donnie), Anthony Vest (Crystal), Samantha Yoho (Andy), Aaron Hamm and Carrie Burris; great grandchildren, Shawna Lee, Brianne, Trently, Quinn, Nathan, Lucy, Adam, Trevor, Georgia and Ashley Burris; one sister, Connie Minks of Bloomfield and one brother, Ronald Hardesty (Sheila) of Worthington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin “Bill” Vest on October 26, 2006, one brother-in-law, Jack Minks and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Arlen Pope and Daniel Frye officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
