Oakley Lynn Marie Mason, passed away peacefully at 1:06 am in her mommy''s arms on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Riley Children''''s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 23, 2024, the beloved daughter of Jacqueline Mason.

She was just 37 days old but fought a very long and hard fight with lung problems after being born at almost 25 weeks. She was baptized by Archie Ellett from Linton First Christian Church where her mommy attends church. She was so loved for the short amount of time she spent here with us and will be missed terribly.

Oakley is survived by her loving mommy, Jacqueline "Jackie" Mason of Worthington; brother, Braxton Flinn; Nana, Sherry Hall of Jasonville; grandpa, John "JD" Mason of Linton; uncles, Kyle Wade and Jayden Mason; aunts, Madison Mason and Taylor Mason; great grandparents, Janet Feese of Princeton and Jayne (Kenneth) Gregory of Jasonville; special Meme, Heather Van Horn; special auntie, Danielle Gwyn as well as several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her papaw, Thomas "Cowboy" Hall; maternal great grandpas, Samuel Booker and Kenny Feese.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Thursday, September 5, 2024 with Pastor Archie Ellett officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
