Norma "Maxine" Miller, 89, of Spencer, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 7, 2018, at the Monroe Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana. Maxine was born in Solsberry, Indiana on January 16, 1929, to Irvin and Grace (Cox) Cooper. Maxine retired from the Owen County Home where she worked tirelessly for fifteen years.

Maxine is survived by her son, Michael (Alice) Miller of Spencer, daughter, Karen (Tim) Forsythe of Beech Grove, Indiana, grandchildren, Charissa, Michael, Jessica, Joshua, several great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Lou (Howard) Goshen, brother, Morris (Marilyn) Cooper and several nieces and nephews.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilbur "Bill" Miller, brothers, Ken Cooper, Max Cooper, Bobbie Dean Cooper, sisters, Elsie Dell, and Deloris Terrell.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, Spencer. Pastor Terry Dowell will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
