Mary Ann "Maryann" Phillips, age 85, formerly of Marion, OH, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon, IN. She was born in Essex, OH on December 25, 1937, the daughter of Robert & Ruth (Huffman) Greenwood.

She worked in medical billing for several years. She enjoyed Ohio State Football, traveling, making strawberry jam, sewing, playing euchre and shopping.

Maryann is survived by her son, Tim (Mary) Phillips of Linton; grandson, Adam Phillips; son, Brent (Kris) Phillips of Cary, IL and grandchildren, Brock Phillips and Kate Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Phillips; parents; granddaughter, Mallory L. Phillips; brother, Robert Larry Greenwood; sister-in-law, Janice "Jo" Greenwood and niece, Tami Greenwood.

Arrangments have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions may be made to the Marion Area Humane Society in Marion County, Ohio; 2264 Richland Road, Marion, Ohio 43302.
