Mark Bohn
/Mark Bohn of Bloomfield passed away on Friday April 20, 2018, at the Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis after a brief illness. He was born on August 11, 1957, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to Barbara Bostwick and William Vaughn. He married Teresa Chesnut on June 9, 2007, and they had 10 fun years together.
He retired in October 1993 as a Tech Sergeant from the U. S. Air Force. He was very proud of his military service. He was a former employee of NSWC Crane in the Supply Department and was currently employee by A E Com as a Logistics Specialist.
He was a life member of the AMVETS Post 2000 in Bloomington where he spent many enjoyable hours. Mark really liked the IU football tailgate and will miss those times. Mark was a longtime fan of the Chicago Cubs and Da’ Bears.He is survived by his wife Teresa, step-son Anthony (Crystal) Vest, and seven grandchildren – Jordon and Austin of Gillette WY as well as Quinn,
Lucy, Georgia, Adam and Trevor of Bloomfield. He loved them all and spent many hours playing with them. Also surviving are his brothers Ernest “Mike” (Rose) Kinney of South Chicago Heights IL and Terry (Jane) Bohn of Mesa AZ.
Mark was preceded in death by his loving daughter Kristina, mom and step-dad Barbara and Bob Jasin and his second wife Kathy.
He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Mark will be missed by his many friends, extended family and co-workers.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Dawn Black officiating. Burial will follow at Scotland Cemetery.
