Marjorie Lawhead, age 84, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 5:20 am on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at I.U. Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Worthington, IN on December 1, 1940, the daughter of Curtis & Helen Veda (Dugger) White.

She was a graduate of Worthington Jefferson High School. She was a homemaker for most of her life and also worked at Pioneer after her kids were grown and out of the house. She enjoyed antiquing, quilting and gardening but most of all she loved spending time with her beloved family as well as her church family.

Marjorie is survived by her loving daughters, Judy (Charlie) Oran of Boonville, Kimberly (Daniel) Archer of Worthington and Bobbi (Keith) Griffith of Worthington; grandchildren, Stephen (Mindy) Sparks, Candi (Chris) Payne, David (Tashina) Watson, Danielle Vest, Doriah Sparks and Chelsea (Anthony Li) Harper; 22 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard "Bud" Lawhead; sister, Barbara Griffith and brothers, Ralph White and William White.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at Faithway Bible Church in Worthington on Monday, September, 15, 2025 with Pastor Terry Dowell officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Bethel Cemetery in Worthington.

Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
