Lloyd Van Ray Robertson, 83 of Bloomfield, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Hearthstone Health Campus in Bloomington, Indiana.

He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky; the son of James Luther Robertson and Rosa Sutton Robertson. Lloyd married Carole Griffith on February 1, 1959. He was a former member of the ABATE of Indiana and the Bloomington Moose Lodge.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, James Robertson, mother, Rosa Thurnall, stepfather, David Thurnall and his wife, Carole Griffith Robertson who passed July 11, 2010.

Survivors include his two sons; Kevin (Tracy) Robertson and Dennis Robertson all of Bloomington, Indiana, daughter, Vickie (John) O’Connor of Boise, Idaho, brother, Jim (Patrica) Robertson of Brownsburg, Indiana, five grandchildren; Daniel Robertson (fiancé Sara Eells), Dena Robertson, Kier (Taylor) O’Connor, Fallyn O’Connor and Stephanie (Bob) Fleming and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Monday, November 6, 2023, at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana with Pastor Jerry Carmichael. Burial in the Dugger Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 until 1:00 PM at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana.
