Lisa M. Salo-Metz, 66, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 2:18 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2025 in her home in Jasonville, IN.

She was born April 18, 1959 in Beech Grove, IN to Karl Salo and Ina Marie (McKenney) Salo.

Survivors include her children, Ellen Metz of Jasonville, IN, Stephen Metz of GA; grandchildren, Aurora Fox, Skylar Fox, Oliver Fox; brother, Joel Brown of Brazil, IN; nieces and nephews, Caroline Thomen of Plainfield, IN, Walt Burnett of Rochester, NY, John McKenney of Avon, IN, Ella McKenney of Atlanta, GA, Judy McKenney of Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lisa worked as a barber following her training at Barber School in Indianapolis, IN. She loved music and enjoyed painting. Lisa loved being around her friends – she loved to party.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Lisa’s wishes, cremation is scheduled. There will be a Celebration of Life on April 18, 2026 to be held at the Log Cabin at Shakamak State Park at 12-Noon, all who knew and loved her are invited to attend.
