LA DONNA SUE (WHITE) MURPHY, 79, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 12:14 P.M. Tuesday, March 19, 2024 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

She was born January 29, 1945 in Linton, IN to Robert Holley and Beulah (Hildebrand) Holley.

Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Murphy of Jasonville, IN who she married on August 3, 2009; children, Robert P. White (Christy) of Lewis, IN, Holly Ferguson (Don) of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Trentin Higar (Merry), Shania Ferguson (Marquise); 6- great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Kenneth Dale “Buster” White; brothers, Jerry Holley, Fred Holley; granddaughter, Tia White; son in-law, Ed Ferguson.

Sue worked for Hercules in Terre Haute, IN for 30 years. She was a member of Faith Community Church in Dugger, IN. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved the time spent with her family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Saturday at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Farris officiating.
