Kathryn E. (James) Bragg, 78, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:23 P.M. Thursday, August 22, 2024 in Greene County General Hospital in Linton, IN.

She was born December 23, 1945 in Hamilton, OH to William James and Hazel (Dougherty) James.

Kathryn married Donald G. Bragg on January 16, 1967, he passed away on November 9, 1977.

Survivors include her son, Scott Bragg of Jasonville, IN; sister, Patricia Bohnert (Larry) of Coalmont, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; sisters, Wilma Adams, Mary Osha, Dorothy Frink; brother, William T. James.

Kathryn graduated from Midland High School Class of 1963. She worked at Underwood in Jasonville and Hardesty Shoe Store in Jasonville. Kathryn liked to play Mahjong, enjoyed reading, listening to the radio, working jigsaw puzzles and looking through catalogs. Special thanks to the staff at Serenity Spring Senior Living for their care of Kathryn.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 1 P.M. with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.

Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Jasonville, IN.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Kathryn to Lawton Street Christian Church Missionary Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
