Kathryn Ann Thatcher, age 100, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 11:25 P.M. on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at IU Health & Hospice House in Bloomington. She was born in Illinois on March 30, 1919, the daughter of Theodore & Nelle (Etheridge) Fulk.

Kathryn was a homemaker. She loved her family and spending time babysitting. She enjoyed reading and watching television.

She is survived by her children, June (Hugh) Shouse of Mooresville, Judy (Bill) Cooper of Brazil, Ronnie (Marcella) Thatcher of Worthington, Phyllis Rogers of Bloomington, Janet (Bob) Terrell of Worthington, Linda Richardson of Worthington, Michael Thatcher of Worthington, and Clifford Thatcher of Worthington, a son-in-law, Gerald Wells of Spencer, nineteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and thirty-four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Isaac Thatcher, a daughter, Nelda Wells, a son-in-law, George Rogers, two grandsons, a great-granddaughter, three brothers, Everett, Ted, and Bob Fulk, and two sisters, Betty Thatcher and Phyllis Gaffron.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 2, 2019. Burial will follow at Pleasant Bethel Cemetery in Worthington.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 A.M. until the time of service.

Memorial donations may be made to the IU Bloomington Hospice House through the funeral home.
