Judy Mae Malone Elkins

Judy Mae Malone Elkins, 79, of Newberry, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born July 18, 1943 in Daviess County, Indiana to Carol I. and Ruth (Sipes) Malone.

Judy married Jack Elkins on July 19, 1968. She was a member of the Newberry Christian Church. Judy worked at RCA/Thompsons in Bloomington, retiring in 1999.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 2010, her parents, brother, Jim Malone and sister, Wilma Wininger.

Surviving are her sisters, Sue Butz of Newberry, Anita (Jim) Howard of Fairhope, Alabama and Jessica (Dan) Demmott of Edwardsport; step daughters, Glenda Elkins Tatro, Angela Zike, Laura Elkins of Bloomington and Pamela Jackson of Franklin; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Newberry Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Christian Church or a Community Foundation of the Donor’s choice in Judy’s name.
