Joseph E. Boone, Jr., 67, of Sandborn, Indiana, passed from this life, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 29, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Joseph E., Sr. and Mary W. (Paul) Boone. Joe married his loving wife, Rhonda L. (Noble) Boone on December 23, 2018.

Joe served his country for 20 years in the US Marine Corps. After retiring from the military, he founded and was CEO of Strategic HR Solutions, LLC. Joe was a member of the Sandborn Christian Church. He enjoyed bowling and motorcycle riding. Joe loved working, the Marines, watching softball games and his animals.

Family left to cherish the memories of Joe include: his wife, Rhonda Boone; five daughters, Amber Bryan, Ashley Seprodi, Sasha Edis, Lindsay Boone and Savannah Bolton; five grandchildren and one brother, Philip Boone of Germany.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, one sister and six brothers.

Funeral services to honor the life of Joe will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Bryan Sanders officiating. Joe will be laid to rest in Sandborn Cemetery at a later date.

Family and friends may call from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 19 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandborn Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
