John Peacock

John Peacock, recently of South Jordan, UT, peacefully passed away on February 24, 2026 of surgical complications. His son, daughter-in-law and grandsons were with him.

He grew up in Linton, IN and then lived across the Midwest, including Holland, MI and Niles, MI.

John was a devoted caregiver to his deceased wife, Becky, and to his friend, Laurie.

He moved to South Jordan, UT in October, 2025 to be close to family and to seek treatment for health issues. After arriving, he visited the Grand Canyon and explored southern Utah with family.

John wished to be cremated. In lieu of a memorial service, his family will carry his ashes on adventures we’d hoped to have together in coming years.

Donations in his memory can be sent to the Holland Area Pet Memorial (https://hollandareapetmemorial.org/), a charity in the Holland, MI area, that was inspired by John’s dog, Charlie, and that’s run by his close friends.
