James Michael East Jr.

James Michael East, Jr., age 65, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully, after a short bout with cancer, at 10:21 pm on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Glenburn Home in Linton. He was born in Bedford, IN on January 6, 1955, the son of James Michael East, Sr. & Nancy (Reichman) East.

He was a graduate of Linton Stockton High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He worked for a few years after the military at Crane and then at a jack factory.

James is survived by father, James Michael East, Sr. of Linton, IN; brother, Joe David (Cheryl) East of Clinton; nephews, Ryan East and Jeremy East, both of Terre Haute.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy East.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
