Gary Eugene Walker, 72, of Worthington, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer with family by his side. Gary was born on March 2, 1947 in Deckerville, Michigan; the son of Harvey and Caroline (Fields) Walker.

Gary graduated from Deckerville High School class of 1964. He married Terry Wells on April 7, 2012 in Bowling Green, Indiana. Gary retired as an Electrical Lineman after 43 years of service. He attended the Owen Valley Christian Fellowship. Gary loved deer hunting and especially bear hunting. The last five years he and his wife went to Newfoundland, Canada to bear hunt. He also enjoyed working on tractors and being outdoors.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Terry Walker of Worthington, Indiana; daughter, Kellie Walker of Michigan; son, Greg Walker (Sarah) of Lapeer, Michigan; stepdaughter, Candi Rode (Keith Provo) of Clay City, Indiana; stepson, Andy Wood (Stacy Sims) of Worthington, Indiana; sister, Becky Walker of Sandusky, Michigan; mother-in-law, Marjorie Wells of Linton, Indiana; ten grandchildren Zack Walker, Alex Walker, Davis Nichol, Dillon Zufall, Keaton Zufall, Kelci Wood, Katie Wood, Eli Wood, Nathan Rode and Ryan Rode; and his beloved black lab Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter JoLene Walker, and two brothers Dwight Walker and John Walker.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Bill Grandi officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Bethel Cemetery in Worthington.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Wednesday and 10 AM until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Owen Valley Christian Fellowship building fund.
