Eugene Lawrence Pitcher
/Eugene Lawrence Pitcher, 83, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019. He was born on April 30, 1936 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to Glen and Lahoma (Skor) Pitcher.
Eugene retired from Rumpke as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield and the American Legion Post 196 in Bloomfield.
Surviving relatives include: his wife Sharon; his children, George Hettle, John Hettle, Tina Campbell, Michelle Prine and Michael Pitcher; two brothers, Dennis Pitcher and Clayton Pitcher; five sisters, Nialetta Hall, June Peterson, Connie Brady, Carol Stackhouse and Janet Pitcher; fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Pratt, Linda Flanagan, one brother, Arnold Pitcher and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Nathan Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
