Dylan Troy Woods, age 30, of Jasonville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 16th, 2022 in his residence. Born October 24, 1991 in Linton, he was the son of Troy Woods and Linda (Bohnert) Woods.

Dylan was survived by his parents; a sister Taylor Miller and husband Luke; a brother Derrick Bennett and wife Kati; Nieces, Haislee, Hudsyn, and due this spring Henley Miller, and Charlotte, Mikayla and Maddie Bennett; nephew Christopher Bennett; Paternal Grandparents, Gary and Brenda Woods; Aunts and Uncles, John and Julie Bohnert, Pamela Bohnert, Ernie and Jill Bohnert, Cliff and Shelley Bohnert, Neal and Arlene Woods; and several great aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special cousin Jessi King. His Maternal grandparents, Buster and Rita Bohnert, great grandpa’s Lester Woods and Denzil Walters preceded him.

Dylan had a big passion for basketball and bass fishing. If he wasn’t doing one he was doing the other right up to his injury. He was an animal lover and also had the kindest, biggest heart for all those around him. He was also a very avid North Carolina Tar Heels Basketball Fan. Dylan suffered a brain injury in an accident 15 years ago and lived at home in the care of his parents and his amazing grandmother.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19th from 2 to 6 pm in the Cox Funeral Home in Jasonville. Services are at 6 pm with Matt Dowell, Dylan’s cousin, officiating. Cremation will follow.
