Beverly M. Chapman, 87, of Jasper, Indiana, went peacefully to Heaven with family by her side on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at her home. She was born on October 29, 1938, in Yuma, Arizona to Carl W. and Gertrude M. (Ashbaugh) Ward. Beverly married her husband of 63 years, Ronald G. Chapman, on June 23, 1962.

Beverly was a member of the Odon Christian Church. She was a schoolteacher, retiring in 1999 with 28 years of service, most of which were at Linton-Stockton Elementary. She enjoyed their retirement years living in Florida, playing golf, cards and especially spending time with her family.

Family left to cherish the memory of Beverly includes her husband, Ronald Chapman; two daughters, Susan (Chris) Turner of Lakeland, FL and Rebecca (Greg) Weisman of Birdseye, IN; one son, Michael (Becky) Chapman of Dubois, IN; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one brother, John (Linda) Ward of Hoschton, GA.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Luke Thomas Chapman.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons with her son, Mike Chapman, who is officiating.

Family and friends may call from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM on Saturday at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon.
