Betty Goodwin
/Betty Goodwin of Linton, Indiana, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, May 27th with her only daughter by her side.
Betty grew up in Shelbyville, IN and spent most of her adult life in Wannamaker raising her six children. In her youth, she enjoyed cooking, boating and camping with her family, as well as spending time outdoors. As she came into her golden years, she loved to watch birds, adored flowers and landscaping, and creating crafts. One of her greatest legacies was gifting “Nana Blankets” to her family and loved ones that she made with soft yarn and love.
Betty moved to Autumn Trace in the spring of 2020. There she met new dear friends, enjoyed playing bingo, crafting, and attending field trips to various destinations and restaurants. Betty was able to interact frequently with relatives on Facebook, Snapchat, and FaceTime. On her Facebook page, you could see her love for her family, as well as her love for President Donald Trump. She had a sweet tooth and loved to share her treats with her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Betty could always be found at family events sitting comfortably with a baby in her lap, soaking in the laughter and love of her family.
She is survived by her children, Denise Daluga, Darrell (Debbie) Goodwin, Dwain (Patrice) Goodwin, Theodore Goodwin, Marty (Linda) Goodwin, and Barry Goodwin. Betty was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
