Arthur W. Collenbaugh, 92, of Coal City, passed away at his residence on November 11, 2019.  Arthur was born in Coal City, on September 7, 1927 to Donald Lewis Collenbaugh and Stella May (Bashaw) Collenbaugh. 

Arthur was married the love of his life for 72 years, Marge M. (Jewell) Collenbaugh on August 30, 1947.  Arthur served his country proudly in the United States Army and then retired from U.S.N.C. Crane.  Arthur loved to shoot guns, hunt, fish and go camping with Marge.  He was a member of the American Legion and the Linton F.O.P., and was an elder for forty nine years at the Coal City Church of Christ. 

Arthur is survived by his wife, children, Brenda and husband Samuel Floyd of Worthington, Marsha and husband James Dotterer of Worthington, Duane and wife Jonah Collenbaugh of Dugger, grandchildren, Lori and husband Tony Dickinson, Eric Floyd, David Dotterer, Adam Dotterer and fiancé Chasandrea, Jarod Collenbaugh, Devin Collenbaugh, great-grandchildren, Samantha and husband Shadow Zygai, Gage Floyd, Kyle Dickinson, Malea Floyd, Anthony Phillips, Braxton Floyd, Harper Collenbaugh, Noah Dotterer, Kayleigh Dotterer, Bayne Collenbaugh, great-great-grandchildren, Maylee Zygai, Mason Zygai, and several nieces and nephews.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Maxine Wells and Wayne Collenbaugh.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, 23 South Jefferson Street, Worthington.  Minister David Grafe will officiate.  Burial with full military graveside rites will follow in Worthington Cemetery. 

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Coal City Church of Christ through the funeral home.
