Anna Mae ‘Annie’ Passen, 82, of Switz City, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully, on Sunday, April 19. 2020 at Terre Haute, Indiana. She was born on December 14, 1937 in Linton, Indiana to Lester and Violet (Pake) McDonald.

Annie married the love of her life, Conrad W. Passen on August 15, 1959.

Annie was a member of Linton First Christian Church. She had worked as a receptionist before becoming a lab technician at Anaconda Aluminum and then worked as a secretary at General Electric Linton Plant. Annie loved being a homemaker more than anything. Taking care of her home and family were very important to her. She especially enjoyed her grandkids and great-grandkids and attended their sporting events as much as she could.

Family left to cherish the memory of Annie include: her husband, Con Passen; sons, Kevin Passen of Clinton and Curt (Jane) Passen of Linton; eight grandchildren, Chelsea, Ashleigh and Nick Passen, Paige (Jaden) Page, Gunnar (Chelsea), Eli (Darcy), Trey and Jaden Passen; seven great-grandchildren, Dominic, William, Silas, Kadyn, Kian, Kruz and Ezra; sisters, Maxine (Steve) Morse of Columbus, IN and Patricia (Don) Jenkins of Bloomington; sisters-in-law, Ethel McDonald of Linton and Susan McDonald of Elberfeld; several nieces and nephews.

Annie was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Delores Eikelman and Mabel Padgett; brothers, Tuffy McDonald and Butch McDonald.

Funeral services for immediate family will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Eli Passen, her grandson, and Archie Ellett officiating. Annie will be laid to rest in Walker Cemetery in Jasonville.

Immediate family may call from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22 at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Annie to the Linton First Christian Church Building Fund, 9878 W St. Rd. 54, Linton, IN 47441.
