New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, June 16, 2026:

June 15, 3:50 p.m., David Leroy Flynn, 66, Dugger, was arrested on a warrant for landowner consent to use violation. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

June 16, 1:34 a.m., James Ray-Jeffrey Cook, 21, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery and resisting law enforcement with two or more prior unrelated convictions. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
