New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026: 

Feb. 16, 2:52 p.m., Zachariah Adam Query, 32, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for battery with bodily injury and habitual traffic violator. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

Feb. 16, 3:39 p.m., David Dale Foster, 64, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe. No bond was allowed. 

Feb. 16, 9:33 p.m., Lowell W. Moser, 69, Worthington, was arrested on preliminary charges of leaving the scene of a property damage crash and operating without ever receiving a license. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
