New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025:

Aug. 25, 12:40 p.m., Johnny Lelain, 36, Evansville, was arrested on a warrant for reckless driving. His bond was set at $5,o00 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $500. 

Aug. 25, 6:19 p.m., Shelby Nicole Allen, 24, Montgomery, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed. 

Aug. 26, 9:51 a.m., Michael Fairle Swindell, 22, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
