New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025:

Aug. 21, 1:28 p.m., Timothy Wade Robinson, 45, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. 

Aug. 21, 10:14 p.m., Robert Jarred Foster, 38, was arrested on a warrant for strangulation and invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
