New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025:

Aug. 19, 9:59 a.m., Rebecca Rae Withycombe, 50, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. No bond was allowed. 

Aug. 19, 2:53 p.m., Garrett Ray Carter, 31, Loogootee, was arrested on a warrant for burglary. No bond was allowed. 

Aug. 19, 4 p.m., Kirstin Ann Workman, 45, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage crash, and interfering with public safety. Her bond was set at $5,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released after posting $550. 

Aug. 19, 10:30 p.m., Michael Scott Walker, 53, Coal City, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. 

Aug. 20, 2:41 a.m., Hannah Nichelle Foster, 31, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
