New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, March 28, 2025:

March 27, 9:29 a.m., Jacob Edward Morton, 27, Washington, was arrested on a warrant for possession of cocaine or narcotic drug. No bond was allowed. Greene County Courthouse Security Officer Patrick Fulford was the arresting officer. 

March 27, 2:44 p.m., Christopher Richard Porter, 29, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for habitual traffic violator. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Zach Mead was the arresting officer. 

March 27, 3:06 p.m., Kenneth Edward Phillips, 45, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. No bond was allowed. 

March 27, 5:34 p.m., Jesse James Burns, 27, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. No bond was allowed.
