New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, March 27, 2025:

March 26, 5:31 p.m., Steven Adam Taylor, Sr., 48, Bloomington, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $100. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael Stanley was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
