New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, June 13, 2024:

June 12, 1:48 PM, Derek Brandon Gore, 41, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery, resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, and refusal to aid an officer. His bond was set at $8,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Devan Goad was the arresting officer. 

June 12, 8:42 PM, Robert Shane Kieninger, 39, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and habitual traffic violator. Her bond was set at $8,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $800. Linton Police Department Officer Jerrad Pirtle was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
