New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024:

Jan. 25, 2:16 PM, William Nathaniel Adams, 33, Owensburg, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating with a controlled substance in the body, criminal mischief, and Indiana insurance law violations. His bond was set at $5,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $550. Indiana State Police Master Trooper Richard Klun was the arresting officer. 

Jan. 25, 10:11 PM, Terry Leon Clark, 58, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Mitchell Eberhardt was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
