February 16, 2023, 4:21 PM, Bradley Eugene Sparks, 47, LaPorte, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of felony intimidation. He was being held without bond.

February 17, 2023, 12:22 AM, John Wayne Turner, 52, Bedford, Indiana, was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor domestic battery, battery resulting in bodily injury, intimidation, and possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $5000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Cayden Walker was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
