New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023:

Dec. 20, 12:03 PM, Kamie Lee Heuby, 56, Dugger, was arrested on a warrant for legend drug fraud, possession of a legend drug or precursor, and theft. Her bond was set at $9,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released after posting $900. 

Dec. 20, 7:34 PM, Dustin Ray Niemeier, 18, Bloomfield, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft when the value of property is at least $750 but less than $50,000. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Alan Jackson was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
