New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, August 10, 2022:

August 10, 2022, 4:04 AM, Kevin Vern Caldwell, 49, Solsberry, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court in a case involving felony battery committed with a deadly weapon and a sex offender registration violation. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Camron Frye was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
