New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, July 20, 2022:

July 19, 2022, 4:15 PM, Abigail Elizabeth Whitehorn, 41, Bloomington, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of felony possession of methamphetamine. She was being held without bond.

July 19, 2022, 4:23 PM, Jesse Andrew Eggers, 31, Martinsville, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at a change plea hearing in a case involving felony identity deception and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with 10% cash allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
