New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, June 8, 2022:

June 7, 2022, 9:16 PM, Steven John Pollitt, 54, Linton, Indiana, was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment. His bond was set at $4000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Sergeant Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
