New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, June 21, 2022:

June 20, 2022, 10:27 PM, Jesse Richard Perry, 21, Bloomfield, Indiana, was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, burglary, residential entry, theft, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Bloomfield Police Lieutenant Marvin Holt was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
