New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, April 13, 2022:

April 12, 2022, 3:55 PM, Nicole Lynae Haldeman, 40, Linton, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of felony possession of methamphetamine. She was being held without bond. Linton Police Detective Logan Hobbs was the arresting officer.

April 12, 2022, 4:32 PM, Amanda Dawn Wheeler, 44, Jasonville, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of felony possession of methamphetamine. She was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Bruce Porter was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
