New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, January 20, 2021:

January 19, 9:05 a.m. – Frank Eldon Caddell Jr., 38, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor invasion of privacy. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Linton Police Officer Adam King was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
