New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, September 28, 2020:

September 26, 4:20 a.m. – Samantha Lynn Thompson, 32, Springville, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $400 and was released later the same day. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Zachary Goad was the arresting officer.

September 26, 3:49 p.m. – William Wayne Lacer, 41, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony battery against a public safety official and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $550 and was released on September 27. Linton Police Sgt. Logan Hobbs was the arresting officer.
