/New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, August 19, 2020:
August 18, 5:52 p.m. – Gary Ray Cross, 34, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at an initial hearing on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended with a prior within 10 years. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $500 and was released later the same day. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

August 18, 6:20 p.m. – Skyler Matthew Reynolds, 24, Terre Haute, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended with a prior within 10 years. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He was also being held on a warrant issued out of Clay County for failure to appear. Linton Police Officer Adam King was the arresting officer.

August 18, 8:17 p.m. – Jonathon Dewayne Smith, 32, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony intimidation. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $400 and was released later the same day.

August 19, 12:41 a.m. – Jeffery Allen Hutcherson Jr., 34, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke bond in a case involving misdemeanor domestic battery. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Adam King was the arresting officer.

Correction: The records division at the jail made a correction to an entry posted on yesterday’s Jail Log. The entry has been corrected on GreeneStreets to read, “August 17, 10:07 a.m. – Carl Lee Pennington, 30, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke bond in a case involving felony domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and misdemeanor possession of a handgun without a license. He was being held without bond.
