New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, July 30, 2020:

July 29, 9:56 a.m. – Branden Shane Strauser, 36, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of misdemeanor invasion of privacy and livestock animals running at-large. He was being held without bond.

July 29, 6:21 p.m. – James Edward Samm, 55, Hymera, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony theft. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $400 and was released later the same day. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Coy was the arresting officer.
