New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, May 29, 2020:

May 28, 3:27 p.m. – Chad William Godsey, 39, Brazil, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at an initial hearing in a case involving misdemeanor driving while suspended with a prior within 10 years, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted bond but is still being held on a warrant issued out of Henry County.

May 28, 4:25 p.m. – Katherine Anne Shonk, 45, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony battery against a public safety officer engaged in official duty and battery on a person less than 14 years old, and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement. Her bond was set at $17,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Chief Paul Clark was the arresting officer.

May 28, 8:08 p.m. – Michael Lee Gage, 45, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony strangulation. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Brittney Ingram was the arresting officer.

May 28, 9:27 p.m. – Angela Lee Lavender, 31, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor domestic battery and resisting law enforcement. Her bond was set at $2,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $200 and was released on May 29. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Zachary Goad was the arresting officer.
