New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, May 20, 2020:

May 19, 9:14 p.m. – Leslie Edgar Corbin Jr., 28, Spencer, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
