New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, June 26, 2019:

June 25, 11:41 a.m. – Norman Alan Muse II, 41, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony criminal confinement and intimidation and misdemeanor domestic battery. His bond was set at $15,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Det. Paul Clark was the arresting officer.

June 25, 5:28 p.m. – Jason Tyrel Haywood, 36, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of felony battery. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Det. James O’Malley was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
